Seniors With Decision Making Power
Through the research and fact findings, it is proven scientifically that seniors are much more well concerned with the decision making in comparison to the younger generation. There is no denying the fact that oldies having the vast experience in all spheres of activities which provide them backup to guess lot of things at the time of taking decision. Through the attraction effect methods it is seen that aged persons take right and bold decision within short span of time applying the readiness of mind and practical knowledge whereas the younger persons are very much incapable of taking decision in twinkling of an eye.
At the time of the review and experiment applying attraction effect methods, it is seen that older adults show much competence and capability for both domains such as earning additional credit in a course and grocery shopping options. On the other hand younger people are only well concerned with extra credit shortcoming. It is the fact that older adults often perform poor in comparison to young people in the field of laboratory problem solving matters, their bold decision to find solution to the problem in practical life is very much strong and decisive. This type of active and effective decision can’t be expected from teens. Therefore it is not correct that under the burden of decrepitude, aged persons can’t think better than those young persons who have scanty experience as they are too young.
It is seen that inconsistency or self contradiction occurs due to the absence of pre-existing preference which lets people to make such inconsistence on each occasion. Preference reversal is another important factor to evaluate the power of decision making. Last but not the least, it is the fact that judging every nook and corner of such experiment it can be said that old persons can take very bold decision in the matter of practical problem in private life.
